Application Shutdown Utility for Microsoft BackOffice The fast and easy way for network administrators to configure PowerChute plus to safely shutdown Microsoft BackOffice APC’s PowerChute plus software running as a Service under Windows NT can provide automatic and safe shutdown of Microsoft BackOffice. By utilizing PowerChute’s FlexEvent capabilities, commands can be called to bring down the BackOffice system gracefully. Once Microsoft BackOffice has been shutdown, PowerChute plus will then ensure shutdown of the operating system. |

User Interface | |
PowerChute plus | During install of PowerChute plus the user is given the option of installing the Microsoft BackOffice shutdown. After install the command file can be associated with any of the PowerChute plus FlexEvents. |
Shutdown/Reboot | |
Unattended Shutdown | PowerChute plus FlexEvents can be configured to run a command file which will shutdown Microsoft BackOffice. Whenever the UPS is on battery but before PowerChute plus begins to shut down the operating system, the shutdown command is sent to Microsoft BackOffice. Only after the shutdown delay countdown is completed does the operating system shut down. |
