Just like the Symmetra RM 4U Battery Cabinet, these have built-in intelligence allowing them to proactively provide crucial information back to the Symmetra RM units regarding: runtime, potential battery problems, and the exact location of any failed battery modules. Seven of these can be daisy-chained together to provide almost unlimited runtimes. These battery cabinets can be partially or completely filled with hot swappable battery modules, based on the runtime requirements and the load. Symmetra
RM 4U Battery Cabinet allows customers to grow runtime in increments
of 4 Battery Modules in just 4U of rack space. These battery cabinets
have built-in intelligence allowing them to proactively provide
crucial information back to the Symmetra RM units regarding: runtime,
potential battery problems; and the exact location of any failed
battery modules. 7 of these can be daisy chained together to provide
almost unlimited runtimes. These Rack-optimized Battery Cabinets come
standard with a 1 ft. connector that allows them to be placed right
above (for 8-12kVA units) or below (for 2-6kVA units) the Symmetra RM.
For
situations where there is a limitation on the rack space available or
when many hours of runtime are required, Symmetra RM units can also be
connected to the 4-bay or 12-bay Symmetra Power Array Standalone
battery cabinets using one of the following 15 ft. Adapter Cable Kits:
